Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences Achieves “Excellent” Accreditation from BAN-PT

A proud milestone has been reached by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jember. The Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences (S3) has officially been awarded the “Excellent” Accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), as stated in the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT No. 8273/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/D/XI/2025.
This accreditation is valid for five years, from 11 November 2025 to 11 November 2030. The achievement reflects national recognition of the program’s strong academic performance—ranging from its Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-oriented curriculum, high-quality research and publications, to its credible and accountable academic governance.
“This accomplishment is the result of a collective effort involving faculty members, students, administrative staff, alumni, and our industry partners. We are truly grateful, and we will continue to uphold this trust by consistently enhancing the quality of our tridharma activities,” said Dr. Wahyu Indra Duwi Fanata, Head of the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences.
This success also marks a strategic momentum for strengthening the program’s internationalization agenda through global research collaboration, increased mobility of students and faculty, and the continuous enhancement of graduate competencies to meet international standards.
